Happy Friday gang!!!

I hope that you all have had a great week, and more importantly, a wonderful month of November! If you are a devout reader here, you’ll know that last night I had family over so that we could get ready ( super early, too!) on the holidays by making peanut butter blossom cookies! Let me tell you, there were cookies everywhere! I am glad that they turned out great, but more importantly, I am really glad that family was here to take half of the damn things home with them! Heaven knows that I do not need a dozen of cookies for us to eat! That’s just too much! And, like I stated yesterday, there are still a lot of time that is left for the holidays, that I really do not feel the need to gorge myself on holiday goodies all right now! I just do not need the sweets!

I do not have any plans for the weekend, as I think that I am going to be working all weekend long. Boring, I know, but hey, it keeps me out of trouble, right? ; ) What do you all do for holiday traditions? When do you pull out your menorah or your Christmas tree? We put our Christmas tree up this week, and we light it at night, which is always nice! Tell me your holiday traditions! I am sure that there are many great ones out there!

I hope that you all have a great weekend! Don’t forget to check back in tomorrow for any late updates, as I always bring you the latest in news!

Until tomorrow, gang! Peace!

Happy Thursday, everyone!

I hope that your week has been going by just fine, and that you all are prepping for the weekend! One more day to go this week, and we’ll be ready for the weekend! I hope that you all have some great plans for the weekend! I am having family come over tonight, and we are making peanut butter blossom cookies. So domestic, I know! The good thing is that we can make some, and they will take most of it home! I only need enough to fill me up, and that’s it! The holiday season really packs on the pounds, so heavens knows that the last thing that I need is extra sweets and goodies to make loosing weight all the more harder!

It looks as though our beloved Tom is working his butt off, as always, to keep all of us happy and entertained! There is a lot of work that goes behind a show, which many are unaware of! There are scripts, guests, moves, and the likes thereof that can really set each show apart from one another. Ok, so maybe there aren’t that many scripts, but I am sure that there are at least questions that are written down so that there aren’t any worries about what is going to be asked when the time comes. Gotta keep the pressure low, you know?

I hope that you all have a great afternoon! Make sure that you check back tomorrow so that I can tell you all about how the peanut butter blossoms turned out! I am sure that they will be delicious!

Until then, gang! Cheers!

Let me hear from you!

Happy Humpday/ Wednesday everyone!

I hope that you all are doing well, and find that your week is coming along great, too. I hope that yesterday’s post intrigued many of you enough to leave a comment about possible contest ideas. I really want to have you all as a part of the community! I know that there are many of you who come by here, too, as I can see the stats! I would greatly appreciate it if you all give me some form of feedback on what you would like to see here! Do you want to see more of YouTube clips? Do you want more information about the show? I really want this to be a blog that is geared towards catering all of you, because, of course, without you, this blog would not exist! So, let’s keep the blog alive and going with ideas on how we can enhance this blog, and what you feel would make our little place even better!

Although the weekend is still a few days away, I would like to know what all you are doing for the weekend! Are you preparing for the holidays by placing out decorations? Will you be spending time with friends and family, or will it be a relaxing weekend at home? Make sure that you leave your comments below! I will even post your plans and ideas in an upcoming blog post! I am looking forward to seeing what all you guys have to say!

Until next time, gang! Peace!

Happy Tuesday, y’all!

I hope that your work week has started off to a great start. Of course, there are many of you that are also fans that are in school, so hey to all of you too! The weather here in Texas is cooling down, and offering rain, which is too blah for me, but it is at least cooler! I have to come to appreciate the cooler weather, especially since I am not one for heat!

I know that Tom has been working his butt off to bring us some great guests, so I hope that you all have had the opportunity to tune into the show from time to time to show him some love! I know that it is appreciated by him! Also, if you have any thoughts on who you would like to see on his show, make sure that you stop by his website, located at www.tomgreenwatch.com, and tell him who YOU want to see! I have told him before that I would be interested in seeing Kat Von D, and it was the next week that he had her on there, and that is the largest show rating to date ( yeah, I’d like to think that I had a little something to do with it! LOL)! Check out the clip from YouTube below to see when Kat was on the show…it was a great time!

I hope that you all have a great afternoon! Remember that you all are all more than welcome to leave a comment with your thoughts and ideas on this blog – I welcome them all!

Until tomorrow, gang!

Peace!

And on we go!

Happy Monday, gang!

I hope that you all are recuperating well from the long Thanksgiving holiday! There are many of you that may be shopping today as well. Today is known to be dubbed as Black Monday, which means that there are many that are shopping online today. I can attest and tell you all that the websites today have some great sales that will last until the end of the week! There’s something to be grateful for, gang…sales! LOL

I know that many of you are getting back into the swing of going to work and school. Although most people are pretty bummed out about having to go back to school and work, do know that the holidays are a mere few weeks away! Next week, as a matter of fact, is Hanukkah, and less than a month away now, we’ll be at Christmas! Can you believe it? I know, I can’t either! Time just goes by too fast, and there are too many things to take in throughout the year. I think that the most important factor is that we all stop to take the time to enjoy life and enjoy the company of one another to truly make it all count, right? Besides, how fun is life if it is not about being grateful, thankful and full of wonderful shopping sales! ; )

I hope that you all have a wonderful Monday afternoon and evening! Check back tomorrow for another fun update! Until then, may you be thankful and have lots of peace!

Happy Saturday, gang!

I hope that you all are having a great weekend so far! I am sure that there are many of you that have had some extra time off because of the holidays, and if you have, I hope that you have spent them with the ones that you love! There is so much to be thankful for not only at this time of the year, but all year through! I hope that many of you know what you are happy and thankful for! There are so many positive things in our world that I feel as though we should truly focus on those instead of harboring on all of the negativity that surrounds us on a daily basis! Be thankful for where you are and what you have! There are many out there that have so much less than us that it is important that we remember where we come from, and everything that where we are today. Even if we are in a situation that we may not agree with, it is important to remember to be thankful for it, to learn the lessons that were with the message, and move on. That’s what life is all about, folks; learning, adapting, and moving on!

I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend, and enjoy those holiday sales! There are supposed to be some good ones coming up this weekend, so make sure that you keep your eyes peeled open for all of the good stuff!

See you all back here on Monday! Until then, peace!

Happy Friday/Day after Thanksgiving!

I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving that was full of good food, love and laughter! I hope that you were surrounded by those that you love, and that you were able to see family that you may not have seen in quite some time. Do you know why I love the holidays? I love the holidays because it is a time where so many will often come together and celebrate the special days with those that have less than others, such as when they have the feed the hungry programs. I also love that many family members will often put their hard feelings aside so that they can come together as one to celebrate the holiday. Let me be the first to tell you that life is too short for there to be hard feelings that come in the way of telling one another how much you care about them. Therefore, gang, just so you know, I care about all of you and hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

What did you all do? Did you travel out of town to enjoy the time with loved ones? Will you battle all of the crazy crowds today to go shopping? There are so many various things to do today, but I do hope that you had some time off to enjoy it all, and that you cherished the times with those that you truly love!

Don’t forget to check back tomorrow for our regular Saturday posting! Have fun with those turkey leftovers!

Until tomorrow, gang! Peace!

Have a Great Thanksgiving!

Wednesday, November 21st, 2007

Happy Wednesday, peeps!

Wow, can you believe that TOMORROW is Thanksgiving Day??!?? Where the heck has this year gone? There are so many times where we all wish that the holidays were here, and when they finally are, we are all so surprised that they have come! But seriously, it seems like just yesterday that I was in another city celebrating Thanksgiving, and here we are, one day away from it!

I do hope that all of you have some great plans for the day. I have been leading up to the Thanksgiving holiday by telling all of you what I am grateful for. Some of you have left comments, and for that I am grateful! I am always happy to see some crowd participation from time to time! LOL You know what I am thankful for?? Money! Although some people may go crazy with money, it is always nice to have, especially when you need to pay bills or you need to buy presents, as is the case with the upcoming holidays. I have also been in the situation where I did not have any money, which I can honestly say can truly humble you, and make you all the more grateful for the things that you do have!

In honor of Thanksgiving Day, I will not be posting a blog for tomorrow. But, you can check back here on Friday for our regularly scheduled blogging! I am sure that many of you will be in a turkey daze, which is sure to make many quite happy!

Until Friday, gang!!! Have a very blessed Thanksgiving!

Peace!

Tell me Something Good

Tuesday, November 20th, 2007

Happy Tuesday, gang!

I hope that you all are doing well, and are making some great plans for Thanksgiving! There is so much to be grateful for and thankful for. Aside from the turkey, what do you all like to eat on your Thanksgiving Day meals? Personally, I do not care for turkey (crazy, I know!), so I just stick to the yummy sides which seem to work well for me anyhow! What do YOU like to eat? What do YOU like to do on Thanksgiving Day? Is watching football a favorite pastime for you and your family, or do you start to get out all of your holiday decorations? It is always fun to read about what you all are interested in here and at my other blog, so make sure that you keep those comments coming!

One of the many traditions that I always look forward to on Thanksgiving is watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. I have always loved to watch the super large balloons drift by, while there were also the beautiful Rockettes that high kick into the Christmas holidays. Nothing rings in the Christmas holidays quite like the annual parade!

So what about you? What are your family traditions that you hold on to year after year? I think that sticking to traditions is a great means of getting back to the family traditions that are so lacking today, and need to be brought to life once again. Of course, I do not really talk to my family, so what do I know? LOL ;)

Until tomorrow, gang! Peace!

Happy Monday, fellow bloggers!

I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend, and you are really ready to great down for Thanksgiving day! I am looking forward to spending time with dear family members. This year has been one heck of a ride for me, and yet, there are still many things that I am thankful for. For example, I joined 451Press in August, and have seen a flourish of people on here as well as on my other blog. I must tell all of you that I am extremely grateful for all of your participation, and even just stopping by to read. Although there are many of you that do not leave comments, please rest assured that I do see all of you, and know that you are here! Of course, it is always great if you come out of hiding as well, to say hello from time to time! LOL It’s good to know what you all feel about the day’s topics, and what you want to read more of. I want to bring you all the latest information, and truly make this a community where you can feel welcome and know that there will be some great information here!

As I mentioned last week, Thanksgiving is coming up, which means that these blogs may seem to be a tad mundane or repetitive. Just know that I am always going to bring you all any breaking news that may occur. I want to make sure that you are happy coming by here and that you know that it is a place for you, the fans!

Until tomorrow, gang! Peace!

I am grateful for YOU!

Happy Saturday, everyone!

I hope that you all have had a great weekend so far, and that you are preparing for your wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I am sure that there are many of you that will be traveling to loved one’s homes. Even if you are spending the holidays at home, like we are, there is still so much to be happy about, and know that you are blessed with what you have. I believe that too many times, we are too consumed with the materialistic means of life, and are worried about what others may think of us if we do not have enough as others. The main fact about life is that when we pass, there is nothing that we can take with us! Therefore, I believe that it is best to make as positive of an impression as possible when we are here! Live with kindness and generosity in your heart, and you will go far in life!

I am so happy that there is a community here that follows my writings (even though you all stay in hiding, since you do not leave comments! Heeheehee!). It is good to know that there may be something that I can share with all of you that just might leave a positive impact on all of you, and you can leave knowing that there are others that are here to offer laughter and support for one another! I give thanks to all of YOU for making this a place of great refuge and fun for me as well as for others!

Wishing you all a great weekend! See ya here again on Monday! Peace!

TGIF, gang!

I hope that you all have had a great week and are totally ready for the weekend! Things are looking great so far for the holidays, and I am sure that there are many of you that are also eager to taking time off for the Thanksgiving holidays! This next week is sure to be a very busy one for all of us, so please do excuse me if the posts that I write may seem too blasé, or just generic in general.

There really isn’t anything new that has been going on in Tom’s land, other than the fact that he is getting ready for a new week of a few guests. There is going to be Mike Valley that will be on Tom’s show next week, if you are a Mike Valley fan, make sure that you check in! I think that a lot of the people that Tom would want to have on the show are also getting ready for the Thanksgiving holiday with their friends and family. I am glad that many people can put their indifferences aside, and can come together to celebrate the bountiful holiday season! There is so much to be thankful for! Tell me what you are thankful for in the comment section, and I will post your comments in an upcoming blog!

In the meantime, you all can surf the net for viral video clips on Tom’s website, or check out old Tom clips on websites such as YouTube (which I have always found some of the greatest clip coverage there!).

Until tomorrow, gang!! Cheers!

Tom’s back…well, kinda

Happy Thursday, gang!

I hope that you all have had a great week thus far, and are finding even more reasons as to why you are thankful! In today’s day and age, there is so much to be grateful for, that it seems hard to find anything that is not worth being celebratory over. Be grateful for what you have, folks, because it can be gone in a matter of seconds!

There really is not that much going on over at the channel this week. I have found that Tom’s guests are all off on Thanksgiving holiday or preparing to leave, which I feel is where there is such a lack of shows since Tom has been back. Of course, he has also mentioned that he has just bought new equipment, and is preparing to set up everything, which is also why, I believe, there has been a lack of shows for us to watch. Just keep in mind that Tom is doing this for all of us, which is why there may be shows that are missing from time to time! No worries, folks, he is really doing it for the love of all of us!

So, today, let’s talk about when was the first time that you saw Tom. What was it that hooked you to his charisma? I remember seeing Tom on MTV with his show. Is there anyone here who first saw him in his homeland of Canada? That would be cool too! Tell us all about it in the comment section!

Until tomorrow, gang! Cheers!

I appreciate you!

Happy Wednesday/Hump Day everyone!

I hope that you all are doing well! Things here are going well. I am enjoying the last of the beautiful Texas sunshine before the winter weather comes. Of course, many of you may even laugh at me for that, because there really isn’t such a thing as a “winter” here in central Texas. I mean, sometimes we have a few occasional snow flurries here and there, but it is certainly nothing to write home about! Last January, we had icicles, sleet, ice and snow on the ground! It was a rare site for this city, but I think that there were also many people that were secretly pleased that there was such a winter storm that blasted through. The bad thing, is that the city is not at all equipped to take care of such inclement weather, so when it gets like that, the entire freaking city shuts down. No lie! Word to the wise: if you are in an area that is going to receive a weird winter storm, make sure that you have sufficient groceries to take care of everything, especially if there is no hope of getting out of the house for a week due to mandatory road closures! LOL

In keeping with the spirit of Thanksgiving, I want to continue on with the giving of thanks for this blog, as well as the other blog that I host here at 451Press. I am thankful that there are such jobs that are available to me for writing gigs! There is a profound blessing that lies in being able to work from the comforts of one’s home! And for THAT I am grateful! Let me hear what YOU are grateful for in the comment section!

Until tomorrow, gang! Peace!

Happy Tuesday, gang!

I hope that your week is starting off great, and that you all made it through Monday! Mondays always seem to be the worst days, too, huh? Oh well, at least we are through with yesterday, and plowing on with the rest of the week! This time next week, many of us will be preparing for the Thanksgiving holidays! I hope that many of you will have the time off from work or school, and will be able to travel or have friends and family travel to you! In keeping with the traditions of what we are thankful for, I would like to say that I am thankful for this blog! I love being able to come here and express whatever it is that I am feeling for the day, and tell YOU all about it! I also am grateful that I can share the latest news with you all here and on my other blog. There is so much to be grateful for, that the list will not stop just here! Every day that I am posting on here throughout the month, I will tell you all what I am grateful for, and I want you all to do the same! Just drop by the comment section and say what you are grateful for! Heck, you can even tell me what you think of this blog!

With the holiday’s approaching, I hope that you keep in mind how thankful you are for the blessings that you have in your life! Of course, where would we all be if there wasn’t information about Kelly available on the internet? LOL

Until tomorrow gang! Peace!
