Happy Veteran’s Day, everyone!

I hope that you all enjoying the long weekend holiday. Even more so, I hope that everyone is enjoying and appreciating the holiday weekend that is upon us. Veteran’s Day is a great time for all of us to stop and reflect on how much the Veterans that we have today are so important to us. Come to think of it, it is important that there is great gratitude that is given to all of our United States soldiers who so bravely fight for our freedom on a daily basis. There are many brave men and women that come back home who are disabled, or are truly not the same as when they left to go to war. Regardless of what our stances are on the current war and presidential cabinet, I believe that we all need to be thankful for the sacrifices that the past and current veterans have made so that we can all enjoy the love of our friends and family that we have today. If you see a veteran, thank them, and let them know how much you truly care and appreciate their valiant efforts to keep all of us safe!

With theThanksgiving holiday coming up, there are so many things that we are thankful for. I am thankful for so much, but keeping up with the current blog posting today, I would like to say that I am very grateful for the soldiers that protect us here and afar. Thank you to all of our military members and their families!

Until tomorrow, gang! Peace!

Reminiscing about the first time

Happy Saturday, gang!

I hope that you all have had a great weekend so far! Have you done anything fun? I still can not believe that Thanksgiving is knocking at our door! Where the heck does time go? And of course, after the holiday’s there are theChristmas and Hanukkah shopping that also takes place, which makes every store a dang zoo! I have never been one to get into the Black Friday shopping, so I suppose that I am lucky on that end that I do not have to worry about that! Lucky me!

So I was thinking back today about how far I have come on this blog. I have truly come a long way from when I started just a few short months ago. There are many readers that I have between this blog and my other one, and I am so very grateful for all of my readers that take the time to say hello! You are all just so delightful, and I know that I am truly blessed to have so many people that are interested in reading what I have to say, as well as take part in conversation from time to time! When I first started, I was not sure if I would feel as though I would run out of things to say, or if I would be interested in keeping the spirit of the blog alive with a flow of ideas. Needless to say, there is always new news that pops up here, so I am quite happy to bring it to you all! You guys (and gals, too!) rock!

Wishing you all a great weekend! See you back here on Monday!

Peace!

Pulling the plug

TGIF, gang!

I hope that your week has gone well, and that you are ready for the weekend! Many of us are preparing for the Thanksgiving holidays, and I don’t know about you, but I am ready to eat some great white meat (turkey that is! LOL)! What is everyone planning to do for the holidays? For those of you that reside in other countries, do you have a day of Thanksgiving as well (I know that Canada does!). How do you celebrate your holiday?
There is so much to be thankful for as well, right gang? In keeping up with the current tradition of what you are thankful for here on this blog, I am thankful for the food that I have to sustain me through the day! I love to cook and am proud to say that I am a good cook at that, which is also a blessing!

I always enjoy reading what other fans have to say to Tom, don’t you? I am glad that he has reader emails that he posts on his website, as well as responds to. It is a good means of keeping interactive, and letting the people know that he is also happy to be a part of their worlds, as well. Speaking of comments, I think that I will be pulling the plug for the contest for a while. I know that there are readers that swing by here, but no one wants to play along for the contest, so I think that it is best to call it quits for the time being, and then maybe re-introduce the contest later on down the road. What do you think?

I hope that you all have a great Friday!

Until tomorrow, gang! Cheers!

Happy Thursday, Gang!

I hope that you all are doing well, and are still preparing for the holiday’s! I know that I am ready to be with friends and family for the occasion, so let’s hope that the Thanksgiving Day will be a good one! What are YOU all doing? Where will YOU be traveling to, or is family coming to your home? I hope that everyone has some good plans in the works! And remember, the Thanksgiving holiday is all about giving thanks, so make sure that you are thankful for all that you have! Oh yes, and before I forget, let me give you all something else that I am thankful for. I am thankful for my home. Although it is not exactly where we want to live anymore, it keeps us warm, and gives us shelter, so for that, I am very grateful!

It is so nice to have Tom back at home, isn’t it? I am appreciating all of the viral video clips that he is posting, as well as any updated e-mails that he will post (which is quite often, by the way). I have been going through past shows, and am still loving the Preston Lacy one, the Kat Von D, and of course, Pamela Anderson ( is she freakin’ hot or what??!?) What are some of your favorite viral clips that are on the show? You can check out the website link by clicking on the link that is provided on the right hand column of this. While you are there, drop Tom a line and tell him how much you really care!

Until tomorrow, gang! Cheers!

Happy Wednesday, gang!

I hope that you all are having a great week so far! I can not believe that we are halfway through the week already! Do you all have any good plans for this weekend? I think that I have a lot of articles that I need to take care of, so I am going to be here this weekend hacking away at the computer! Nonetheless, I love what I do, so it is all worth it! I mean, where else can you have the luxury from working from home all the while getting paid? And in your pajamas too? Love it!

I hope that you all have been checking out Tom’s website because he has been coming on from time to time since Monday night checking in to say hi to everyone! That is a lot of fun, which is why I hope that you all are making the time to stop by there and see him in action! I am thinking that he will be coming back on sometime soon and we will have our web-o-vision once again! I can not wait! I am looking forward to it all, and I am sure that Tom will be producing some killer shows for us! I am anxious to see all of them!

Also, in the note of staying “thankful”, I wanted to share another thing that I am thankful for today. I am ALWAYS thankful for having the internet. Seriously. I am thankful that there is such a communication where we can instantly talk to one another, and I can work from home. How cool is it to have information at the click of a mouse? Think about it, without the internet, you wouldn’t be reading this! LOL

Until tomorrow, gang! Cheers!

Happy Tuesday, gang!

I hope that you all are doing well! Monday is over, and we are into the week! Can you believe that Thanksgiving is coming in less than 3 weeks? Is that insane or what? What all are you doing for Thanksgiving? Will you be traveling to another state or city to see loved ones? Luckily, most of my loved ones live here in Texas, so there isn’t any additional traveling that I have to do! Of course, I am not sure what the plans for Thanksgiving will be either, so we’ll have to wait to see what will unfold! In a continuation of things to be thankful for, I wanted to share with you all today that I am thankful for my job! It is a blessing to be able to work from home and make money while doing it! I am a full-time freelance writer, and, even though I have my rough days, I am so grateful to be able to make money from the comfort of my own home! Got to love that! LOL

It is so great to have Tom back home! If you missed it yesterday, check out yesterday’s blog, where I made mention that Tom is back in California! I am looking forward to seeing his movie, Freezerburn. I am sure that it is going to be a great hit, and for sure a laugh-a-thon! Also, make sure that you are checking in with Tom’s website, as he is bound to be on there from time to time with a live show! I am anxious to see him again!

Until tomorrow, gang! Cheers!

PS Don’t forget to keep voting for Tom on TV Guide!!

Happy Monday, gang!

I hope that you all had a great weekend! I know that I did! It was nice to kick back yesterday and take a few minutes away from writing (I write full time), and simply enjoy the last few warm days of the fall. Here is Texas, the saying always goes that there are two seasons…hot and hotter! LOL It’s so true as well – there’s just something so weird about being outside in November and you are wearing a short sleeved shirt and shorts! Insane! Oh well, I am sure that we will have cooler weather before we know it, so I will cherish the warm sunny days while I can!

Good news, gang!!!! Tom is back in California!!! Yea! He sent an e-mail today stating that he had a great time in Canada filming his movie, and that he is very happy to be back home! Well, I gotta admit, it is nice to have him back! I mean, sure, he has been cool enough to leave postings for us over on his website, but it will be great to have live shows again! Of course, he didn’t mention when there will be live shows again, but I am thinking that they are coming rather soon! I can’t wait!

Also, since Thanksgiving is coming up, I wanted to list what we are thankful for every day that I post a blog on here. So, I am thankful for our pets! They are the best, and love us unconditionally! What are YOU thankful for?

I hope that you all have a great Monday! Check in with you all tomorrow!

Until then…Cheers!

Happy Saturday, everyone!

I hope that your weekend is off to a great start so far! Even though I have work to do, I am still having a pretty good weekend! I can’t complain!

In following with the post from yesterday, I am listing something every time that I post on here that I am greatful for. Yesterday, I stated that I am happy that I have my partner who loves me unconditionally! Today, I am thankful for my family that always stands by me. Sometimes, we may hit a bump or two in the road, but our family is always there to help us out, and get us back to where we need to be. With family, many things are possible!

Tom has wrapped up his tapping of Freezerburn (if you have been following this blog, you’ll know what I am talking about!) in Canada, and is on his way home! I am stoked! I have missed Tom, and I am sure that he is eager to get back on the internet airwaves to say hello to all of us! I can almost bet that his return to the internet will be a great one, as he has been gone for far too long, and I am sure that he has been having his withdraws, too! It’s funny how we all connect that way, huh? Amazing what the powers of the internet can do! Nonetheless, make sure that you check by his website to see when he is coming on and if he has posted any new information.

Until Monday, gang! Have a good one!

Almost Home

TGIF, gang!!!

This has been a fun week so far, hasn’t it? I mean, you have Halloween, when you get to see all of the cute kids in their costumes (and, by the way, what the heck is up with the “older” kids still doing Halloween? I think that it should be for the little ones!) and give them candy, make them smile…but, I digress. Nonetheless, Halloween has come and gone, and now it is time to focus on Thanksgiving!

This month, I want to list one thing every time that I blog that I am thankful for! I encourage you to do the same! There are so many things that I am thankful for, that I am sure that the list will not be too hard to come up with at all! So, first and foremost, I am thankful for my love, who keeps me grounded, and always reminds me that I am loved! To go through life without love is like not living at all…and that would be a total shame! :)

Me thinks that Tom is coming home in the next day or so, so make sure that you are swinging by here to see when he has updated, as I will be sure to post the information here as well! I can not WAIT until he is back to his good ol’ web-o-vision. I am sure that he is eager to get back on the wagon too! I am sure that having such fun while working is a hard habit to break!

Until tomorrow gang! Peace!

Happy Thursday, everyone!

I hope that you all have survived Halloween with a good fright or two, and lots of candy! Where we live, we do not get any trick-or-treaters, which is a bummer, but hey, more candy for us, right? I do miss watching the little kids in their adorable costumes, trying as hard as they can to say trick-or-treat. It’s usually “twick or tweet” or something like that…they are just adorable!

If you are a frequent reader here, or if you stop by Tom’s blog from time to time, you’ll know that he has been in Canada, filming his latest movie, Freezerburn. He has been leaving updates over at his blog for all of us, as well as on his MySpace page through bulletins. It seems to me like he is really enjoying himself, and I am hoping that he is home soon so that we can all enjoy his live web-o-vision shows once more! All in due time, though, I suppose!

Also, here’s a hilarious flashback from Tom’s old show, the Tom Green Show. Do you remember the Hillbilly skit, gang? Tom tries to get someone to eat his caramels…and he finally does! Check out the clip below to see!

Just sickening, right? Can’t say that I would eat his caramels, either! LOL! Too funny that the dog was the one to eat it in the long run…I am sure that that poor dog was really feeling the after effects of that one soon thereafter!

Until tomorrow, gang! Cheers!
